2018 Side Pillar strips peeling at top?

Anyone else know if the exterior pillars between the doors are peeling like this or is there some film they left from factory. Bought new bought can’t recall if this was always there or not?

Common failure when exposed to sun long periods of time. Happened on my Acura TL, both Ram 2500's, happening on my 16 Tahoe, and buddies 16 Tahoe. The cheapo aftermarket stick on units were purchased but never installed because fitment was crap. Either buy oem, or wrap with vinyl has been my fix over the years.
