2018 Tahoe low beam LEDs?

Alright, my other car is a 2014 Chevy Malibu turbo it has the same low beam housing as my 2018 Tahoe but she uses HID (can hear them wizz when turned on) my Tahoe has the same round glass projector. Back in the day I would just throw HID in everything I could even the reverse lights with a switch to blind tailgating at night. So I don't want to go HID but I do want to go LED.

I'm on a budget want to keep it $50 +\-
I'm going to go with Nokya 2500k bulbs for the hi beams

Is this projector safe to use LEDs and not make my headlights look JDM?

What are my options for the low beams ?

these photos are of the Morimoto 2 Stroke 3.0 LED in stock halogen projectors...BEST 200$ i have ever spent. they look great outside, you can tell the bulb has been swapped unless illuminated and then it is just a pure white light. they do not look JDM at all. i actually want to match my fogs, as i like those on as well, but currently do not use them due to locating a matching bulb ( i just havent taken the time)

If your budget is ~$50, I think that you may have trouble finding a quality set of LEDs at that price point.

I strongly recommend that you get an adjustable set of LEDs, so that you can rotate the LED within its housing, in order to get the proper beam alignment and spread for maximum light, while not blinding all oncoming vehicles. The actual adjustment mechanism is different for different brands/models, but the instructions supplied with the LEDs (or an installation guide on their product web site) should guide you through the process.

Bottom line, the popsicle stick in the LED headlight holding the LED chips needs to be as close to vertical as possible, after installed and locked into place in the headlight housing, with the LED chips pointing to the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. The photo of the guide below, while not for your specific brand/model, will give you a visual sense of how these LED headlights need to be positioned in a correct alignment within the headlight housing.

I used these. High and low beam are the same bulb. They have been in for a year. No issues. Very bright and it doesn’t bother other drivers.

Found them cheaper on eBay is H11 the low beam? Also are they adjustable as in able to rotate the LED blade?

Check out VLED Micro Extreme, replaced my Morimoto 2 stroke 2.0 with these, these are like daytime

Yes they are asjustable

Almost a year later
Ordered 9005+H11 leds
Just want to confirm the low beam bulb in a projector headlight needs to facing with the blade vertical, 3 and 9 is where LED diode should be facing ?

The high is just a chamber of mirrors no projector so it doesn’t matter for the highs right ?
