2018 Tahoe LT 4WD loses all electrical power intermittently

After shut down the Tahoe sometimes loses all electrical charge, even the power door locks. After a few hours or overnight it sometimes just comes back on. The last time it happened I wiggled the wire connections to the battery and it came back on. The battery gauge shows a normal 12:00 reading and the SUV seems to charge and hold a charge. sometimes the car asks me to open and close the driver's side window and then open and close the passenger side window. Looking for a do it yourself solution.

If you can ‘wiggle’ you battery cables they aren’t tight enough. When a battery cable isn’t tight, corrosion can build up in between battery and cable end resulting in an intermittent connection or loss of connection. I would completely remove the battery terminals, clean both sides thoroughly and reconnect tightly, especially the negative terminal. These trucks are notorious for bad grounds and that causes havoc on the computers.

Edit: it’s asking for windows down because it needs to reset after losing power...from an intermittent connection.
