2019’s are a sweet ride. Bugs are all worked out as someone else mentioned. Bird in hand vs bird unknown. I’m sure the 2020’s will be nice, I’m planning on getting one at some point too, but maybe the second model year (2021). In the mean time if you need/want something now, get a 2019 and enjoy it.

Three things to consider that may or may not matter to you:

-buying a 2019 you will have an old model yukon in <12 months

-2020 has IDRS. More room. Better ride. Potentially not as attractive for towing to some.

-On center steering wheel. FINALLY!!

..my 2cents...go with a leftover 18 at a huge savings and upgrade to a '21 in 2yrs if it seems the new design is a winner.

We just sold our 15XL and picked up a '17 suburban premier knowing that a '21 my be an option in the near future.

The 2019 GMC Sierra Denali does NOT offer Adaptive Cruise. The dealer insisted that it was included, but when we tested the vehicle, it was not. The Owners Manual does nt include the term "Adaptive Cruise".
Strange that GMC would do this.

Interesting and hard to believe GM would do this.

per one review published...

"The new Sierra doesn't offer adaptive cruise control, which is confounding in a vehicle close to $70,000. There are cars at half the cost with this feature. GMC tells us it's a temporary omission for the 2019 model year. A better system is in the works, but it wasn't ready for the first model year and GMC didn't want to redo the grille after a year to accommodate it"

I heard the new system is something closer to self driving. Not self driving, just something that brings us one step closer and allows for GM to add more self driving features to the vehicle over the next several years.
