About a month or so ago, my 2019 Tahoe Premier (5.3) just started having an engine tap at startup (see video). Just hit 100k miles (engine has ~70k on it) and this tapping sound always happens for the first ~30 seconds after the first startup of the day until it idles down. If I turn it off to run an errand (getting gas, going into store, etc), it starts back up fine with no noise. If it sits for a couple hours or more, the ping usually comes back for the first 20-30 seconds or so again. Never hear it during driving. No noticable loss of power and oil pressure reads fine. Welcome any thoughts if this is a trend issue for this engine.
