When I’m playing shows for my kids with the GM Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi is spotty and the show keeps cutting in and out. It’s in a good area, with good reception and it’s not the app because it works fine in my other car. Wondering if I’m wasting money on the Wi-Fi plan?

Usually the vehicle Wi-Fi has better reception than your smartphone. At least that it’s what I have experienced in weak areas my 13.

Yes, you are wasting your money. I’m always switching back to LTE. Lots of bad experiences with GM /Onstar Wi-Fi from almost everyone who has it. Does anyone have any good experiences with it?

I just signed up with OnStar and they’re WiFi package, so time will tell if it’s worth it.

We purchased data a couple times in our 19 for the grandson on trips. He hits it hard with video games on a tab and it worked fine even in the mountains.
