Recently I noticed that the button does not lock or unlock the doors of the vehicle (driver side rear door) but all other buttons work fine.

2020 Tahoe

I watched this video and my truck does indicate that something is happening (all doors lock and some lights turn on, mirror signals flash) but the button still doesn't do anything on the rear driver door. I tried it two times.

Is there something else I can check?

It isn't terribly inconvenient, but if I can fix it on my own, I'd like to.

Thanks.

*edited, my mistake
I would suspect the specific door lock/handle button has a issue.

are you under the impression that the fob unlocks individual doors? that is not the case
IT CAN be set to only unlock the drivers door, OR all doors, not 3 out of 4
I would suspect the specific door lock has an issue and NOT the fob.
Sorry for the confusion. I’m referring to the push button on the handle. Each door has a button on the handle. They all work except the rear driver side door. The button doesn’t lock or unlock the vehicle but all the other buttons on the door handle work fine.

def confusion on my part lol, I would suspect perhaps a inop button on that door or the actuator has gone out.

so question, does the door lock/unlock from the drivers door master switch?
even if the child lock switch was engaged it would still open from the outside

no confusion on my part, the fob does not open specific doors, other than the system can be set to open the drivers door only or ALL doors.
so..... I would suspect perhaps a inop button on that door or the actuator has gone out.
unless you have different information......in which case I have never heard of a fob being able to open any specific one of the 5 doors (rear hatch is considered a door in this regard)

I'm not sure why you think I'm having an issue with the fob or why I'm trying to unlock each door, individually, with the fob, I'm not.

I'm referring to the button on the door handle.

Yes, the door locks all operate when I lock/unlock from inside. All the doors lock and unlock from the fob.

The only thing that does NOT work is when I attempt to lock/unlock from the button on the door handle. It doesn't do anything when I try from the rear driver side door. The buttons on the other three doors lock/unlock just fine.

Thanks.

sorry the way your post was worded and the video with a picture of the fob threw me off into thinking you were trying to use the fob to unlock the door.
if everything else works as intended then it likely needs a new button. A good scanner that can show if the button is working or not would tell you for sure.
I do not see a button for sale separately but the various colored outside handles are listed online for $50-80.
I do not see any notes about them needing any programming so it should be a straight swap.
