I just pick up a suburban RST and didn’t realize heads up display wasn’t equipped with the truck. Is it possible to have the factory display install? Thanks

Are your gauges analog or do you have the digital cluster?

Welcome Nick! I think you're going to have to change the cluster and dash. I wondered the same thing on my first C7 Corvette back in 2017, since it was available but I didn't get it. I would have had to replace pretty much the entire dash and DIC cluster.

Looks like you have the upgraded gauge cluster. My 2021 LT has all analog gauges with a digital DIC. I only have a red led bar module in my dash where the HUD goes on the higher trim models. It is a crash alert device that displays a red bar of light in a HUD fashion. I guess the million dollar question is does the HUD module swap out with the red led module and actually work with the upgraded cluster. I will be following this thread to see if they are plug and play. I would be shocked if the dashes are different in the HUD optioned vehicles.

That doesn't look like an RST. The stitching on the dash is white. I have an RST, stitching is red, analog cluster will small display.

I know there are a lot of people that love having the HUD and I was one of them at one time when I first had my 2011 Camaro SS. When I got my 2014 Corvette 1LT that didn't come with a HUD, I thought I would miss it. That proved not the case because the gauge display was more than adequate for displaying speed, RPM, etc. and I didn't miss it at all. My 2016 Yukon Denali also had the HUD, and when I recently traded it for my 2021 Tahoe Z71, I lost the HUD again, but like the owning the Vette, I don't miss the HUD at all now because of the analog gauge/digital DIC display is more than adequate (for me, anyway). Not to mention, the HUD was mostly useless to me during the day because I could barely see it since I wear polarized sun glasses that washout most of the HUD display anyway.
