What part of the country do you live in. I just purchased a Tahoe with them on it that I would be willing to part with. I am in NC. Not really interested in shipping them.
I’m interested in your crossbars. How much and where in NCAre you

I have a set of aftermarket ones from this thread: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/thr...new-tahoe-and-yukon-2021.131245/#post-1637268

You can have them for free if you pick up or pay for shipping. These did not fit on my Denali but the company told me they fit on others that tested and I was installing them incorrectly. On mine the feet didn’t clamp down properly on the roof rails, there is a lip/groove that they are supposed to clamp under in the rail and the feet were to shallow to clamp on mine. No clue why they work on others but not mine but you welcome to them for free plus cost of shipping or pick up. We live 20 mins south of Charlotte in Tega Cay SC.

I am in a loaner 21 'Burban while my 18 is the shop and I will say, I am impressed with the easy and the design. While it isn't the usual Thule or Yakima design it is very well made and pretty substantial. I have no concernes putting my Packasport 115 on it. While I would prefer it to be lower, it will do the job.

Bumping this back up. The shop chevy site is saying out of stock until July 30. Thule and Yakima have a TBD on their website. Any have any other options?
I had the same thing happen, called one dealer and they said it'd be a few weeks then called another and they had them in stock. I'd definitely call around as they seem readily available.
Also, I used my MyGM points that I acquired when I purchased the vehicle and it knocked $125 off the $495 price tag.

I just posted this in the Thule/Yakima thread, but if you are still looking there is an Ebay vendor that is selling the GM Factory Cross Bars for $250-275. I ordered them yesterday for $250. He was selling them for $200 but as they continue to sell the price continues to go up, he is listing them for $275 now + $15 shipping. Pretty cheap in comparison to dealer pricing.

Mine will be here Monday so we'll see if they are actually GM cross bars or a knock off. I did confirm with him before ordering that they are Genuine GM product so we'll see.

For all the people mentioning how high the bars are, i totally agree, but it also dawned on me when i was tossing the thule up on ours yesterday and saw the pano sunroof…i think the reason they are so high on this model is due to the room needed for the pano sunroof to operate. I didnt open it up to check as it was raining, but i bet that is why.

That and something tells me wind noise is also reduced with the higher bars. They seem WAY quieter than the ones I had on my 2019 Tahoe.

Having had a 08 YXL and currently a 18 YXL and putting our Packasport on the 21, it was the first time I noticed a significant loss of MPG. IMHO it had to do with the height of the bars.

We just drove down to florida from michigan with the biggest box thule offers, and we we got like 12-14 mpg. It was windy af, we were loaded down quite heavy (a weeks worth of luggage for 4 and 4 bikes on a super heavy hitch carrier), and we were cranking 80+- mph so i didnt expect the greatest mileage…but that floored me a little.

It was the maiden voyage with the box on the roof and the first one we have ever owned, so i do not have any experience with one. I figured the box was the cause of the poor mpg.
