Ok First all of this is Greek to me. Wife's 2021 Tahoe LT Had WAZE working in the Nav system. Today I got yelled at because it doesn't connect/work any longer. I don't drive the truck. She pays for OnStar and Chevy App
Waze is no longer in the trucks screen Nav. or in the menu ?? OnStar is pushing Google [ she said] She is real good at getting things to work.
Thanks going to have a beer or 3

It sounds like she was using Waze through Android Auto. I'd probably start with rebooting her phone and see if it reconnect.

Isn't Waze owned by Google? Sorry off topic...

Yeah, it is now is but on the ‘21’s I don’t believe it’s a built in app (I’ve never seen it on mine…just other junk apps like the weather channel and stuff which requires data coverage/hotspot to function).

I figured it’s more likely to be Android Auto or Apple CarPlay running the Waze app through the phone to have it appear on the infotainment screen.

If she’s gonna yell at you every time there’s a technology glitch in this day and age, I’ll suggest ear muffs.

And a good lawyer.

That sort of technology is fragile and inconsistent in behavior, regardless of the vehicle involved. I have cursed them all at one time or another, OEM and aftermarket alike.
