Lol. Plenty of quality stuff made in China. Change the channel..sheesh.
China only makes good products if they are made to do it.A family member works for manufacturer that sent all their assembly and part manufacturing to China. Product imported was not as designed and warranty for product at retail stores was horrendus. They finally had to send an engineer over there to keep an eye on them, so product was built properly. Engineer is now there all the time 48 weeks a year.
Let's not forget dog food problem and tooth paste fiasco. In news this week Iphone is pulling production out of china and they seem to not be able to produce vaccination for covid.
Do I trust china for quality products NO.

Yeah I get that it's a nationalistic thing to be anti China but it's not true. IPhones are getting pulled because workers are demanding more pay and better conditions but rather then appease workers they are moving it to India.

I've worked with many manufacturers in China and used to stay there quite a bit. They will build you whatever you want to whatever spec you demand. It's really up to you to set the standard for them just like any other company.

They are still 1st in the world when it comes to ease of manufacturing and efficiency. Cheap is not the only reason people outsource there and labor rates today are also not the cheapest as other developing countries want a slice of that pie.

Appeasing workers? Your tirelessly pro-CCP stance is cute, you’ve probably got no idea what the nets around the buildings are for.

Location
Stockton, Ca.
considering that most of the stuff you own or drive or use was made in China (already) the point is moot
the only thing probably mostly not made in china is clothing
go thru your home and flip everything over and look at where it was made, unless you are some kind of american die hard it's mostly made in china

All the extra computers/electronics/software create more areas where things can go wrong. Thats not a cheap China parts issue, its just a fact of integrating complex technology.

Shouldn’t you be fantasizing about importing the new GS8?
