2022 RST 6.2L

I ordered a 2022 RST 6.2L on 10/8, and it’s still sitting at production code 1100. Dealer said no RST 6.2L are being accepted yet. Anytime heard or know otherwise?

The dealer where I picked my 5.3 RST at back in June just recently got 3 Z71’s all with the 6.2 and basically loaded. Msrp at 82k.

I think they sold one so they are down to 2.

Edit: they sold 2 down to 1.

I also ordered a 22 6.2L RST. I was told 10 to 12 weeks. Looks like the 2nd or third week of Jan 23. Hope GM can beat that estimate but the way things are looking....

I was told 12-16 weeks when I ordered on 10/8…..I chatted with Chevrolet.com today, and was told that it has been accepted, but no production date was given. There are several ‘22 6.2L RST’s on Cars.com out there.‍

I’d be a little more impatient but I got $3K below MSRP so I’ll wait. Lol

I’m hoping you meant Jan ‘22? Lol

My dealer just told me the RST sport package is on constraint with 0 builds in December. Earliest would be January apparently.

I ordered one too last month. I don’t really care when it comes because I was not excited about getting a new truck until the 6.2 rst became available.

I’ll take the under on 12 weeks if anyone wants to play. It’s my belief that ordering lots of useles options that require microchips will delay production more than anything.

Order went from 1100 to 3000. Now if we can get to 3800 in the next few weeks we will be in business!
