Hi everyone,

I have a 2022 Tahoe Premier and suddenly the center infotainment screen stopped working completely, including the rear entertainment screens. At the same time, the radio, sound system and the front charging/USB ports also stopped working. I took the vehicle to the dealership and after inspection they recommended replacing the following parts (as an initial step):
  • Radio Control Module Assembly
  • Radio Control Screen Assembly
However, the repair cost is very expensive.

Has anyone experienced the same issue before? Did replacing these parts solve the problem, or is there anything else I should try first before going ahead with the replace?

Any advice, troubleshooting steps, or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Not to hijack this thread, but the extended warranty would have been your friend here. People Foo Foo them, but it would have paid 95% of your bill and it would still be in effect. Don't think these kind of issues can't happen on these vehicles today.... Based on all the recalls in the world etc anything can happen anywhere and if you aren't under some kind of warranty life ain't cheap.

Maybe put that money towards an extended warranty and then have it repaired. Knapp and James Black Cadillac offer GM warranty at discounted pricing.

There are a boatload of recent TSB's posted related to this...check the NHTSA web site...most of the recent bulletins posted are infotainment screen related.

I have saved enough money by NOT purchasing an extended warranty to buy several vehicles, including my Tahoe. Perhaps it's the luck of the Irish.
