Has anyone had any more info on this. This has happened twice on our 22 YUKON, went to dealership thinking it was a sensor. They ran scans onit and then asked if it had been responding slow. I hadn’t noticed. They said the only found some communication codes that they couldn’t not replicate and then all but kicked me out the door. They would not give me any paperwork on what they saw or that they had even checked it. Told me to bring it directly in the next time the light comes on and don’t turn the car off so they can check it. Any thoughts?

Just following up on this thread. The same happened to mine (22 Yukon XL). I did have my OBD scan tool with me just because you can't leave the house without one when driving this pile of junk car.
I had a U101 code in there but that sounds unrelated.
The temp gauge was a tad below the mid mark like it always does. The coolant temp reading in the scan tool read 210F.
Coolant level was fine.
Light stayed on even when car was off (same as other report here). After a few minutes, I remembered to open the door to cut accessory power and they tried again. The light went out after that but still unnerving since I was 4hrs away from home on the road.
Let the car sit for 15min and restarted; everything seemed fine.
Light hasn't come on again.
