Just took delivery of my 2022 (and 3rd Yukon Denali) on 4/9. So far, mixed reviews. The interior is so much more comfortable than the 2015 and 2020 I had. A LOT more room, feels as though it has a higher ride height, LOVE the updated tech. Air suspension is great (so far). No more wondering if I can get in/out of parking garages with the roof rails on like I had with the 2020.
I miss the cylinder shut down to save on fuel, but the tweaks made to the engine make it feel more responsive. There is a slight hiccup between first and second when starting from a full stop, at least based on my experience.
All of the buttons and touch points finally feel like an >$80k truck.
I had mine ceramic coated and I highly encourage everyone to look into it. Makes cleaning it up a breeze.
The issue I have is with OnStar and the new Android Auto based infotainment system. A HUGE upgrade with the new center stack screen, but it is slightly slower to load than the old version. Minor annoyance…the MAJOR annoyance/issue is that OnStar removed the prepaid data plan from my account so that has rendered the navigation and connected features absolutely useless. And no one has been able to fix it.
Once that is resolved, this is a great truck but would be great to hear some comparisons vs the x7 (which was my other option). We are a family of 3, so we didn’t really neeeeeeed the interior room, but hey; it‘s the American Way. We do pull a horse trailer (2 horse max) from time to time, but nothing routine. I haven’t hauled yet, so no comment there.
The OnStar issue really has me angry, so any advice is appreciated.
Congrats to all on their new addition to the fleet!
