Hi all, a couple weeks ago we put a deposit down on a Denali that the dealership had said was just produced and should arrive “any day now”. After chatting with GMC they said the vehicle was produced check with your dealer on shipping etc. Chatted with a person, who said the vehicle was produced but on hold. I did some more digging and found it arrived on the 12th to the lot in Midlothian. No movement from what I can find and chatting GMC today they said there’s no ETA on when it will arrive. They did say though the estimate is 6-12 weeks from a customer/dealer order is placed to when it hits the lot. Of course they couldn’t tell me when the order was placed so I have no clue when it will move out of Midlothian. Question is, is the 6-12 weeks that the specialist chatted me accurate? Anyone else have their vehicle bayed in Midlothian and for how long? I did read an older thread late last year that said people were waiting 2+ months with their vehicles in that lot with no movement. Hoping that’s improved.

My vehicle went to Midlothian from the Arlington plant on 04/13 and the dealership hasn’t heard anything. Did you at least get your VIN?

Ok so that’s really similar. Mine went there the day before yours. I do have the VIN, so I check this work around JC Transport status I found off another thread: k0jdd.netlogger.org/VehicleStatus.php which still shows Midlothian. Ugh. GMC Chat at least gave me the order # the first time I chatted, but I was disappointed tonight they couldn’t tell me when the dealership placed the order so I could try and estimate 12 weeks out. They always say to talk to the dealership but I told them it seemed unlikely they could see any more information on the vehicle if GM’s own specialist couldn’t.

They also couldn’t say how long it would be at the lot or why it was there (missing chips, etc). I hope yours gets out of there soon!!!

Dealership just called and confirmed what I already know. No ETA. They assume it’s waiting for a part but no clue on the timeframe. Argh.

I also just Google mapped where that lot is. I don’t know how old that photo is but still…that does not make me feel optimistic it will ever make its way out of there. Dramatic, maybe, but that’s a lot of vehicles….

You might want to try a new dealer, or have your current dealer review what is on constraint and remove those items. My Yukon Denali order was placed on January 3 and I took delivery March 19.

@Wileybird03 you definitely need to re-visit your order; there are so many constraints so if your vehicle has something that GM is not doing that particular week, your order is going to sit and sit and sit.

My Yukon XL Denali (TPW 3/28) was moved to Midlothian on 4/6. Haven't heard anything since... still waiting... .
