Picking up a 2023 RST with the RST performance package. This package deletes the roof rails. Looking to see what my options are. I have the black covers where the rails would be but I think there are structural components inside above the headliner I might be missing. Unless the pack just removes the roof rails and I can simply buy the rails, remove the black strips to expose threaded studs that I would attach the rails to.

I’ve called Yakima, THULE, Rhino rack, and others but the have no fitment.

I need cross bars a couple times a year for a roof top box.

Thanks. Happy to be here.

I got a set of rails off my '22 Yukon that were chrome but painted black, they could be stripped and repainted black or any color you want. If you need a set of rails, I could help you out.

Thanks. I’m taking delivery of the vehicle in a couple days. Nobody (GM, yakima, THULE)knows how to get roof rails on my vehicle.

Still on the hunt for roof rails. I see the aftermarket low profile rails that would require me to drill my roof. It appears that if I want to go OEM, id have to drop the head liner to install the structural components on the interior of the vehicle. Also, going OEM would be $$$$$$. I use a roof box once a few times a year for the typical beach trips. Leave for a trip soon and bought an Amazon roof bag but I want to use my THULE box.

I also am not sure that clamp on bars would work once THULE or YAKIMA make as they would position my box very far forward.

I may not quite understand what you want, but my Thule kit fit perfectly on the Yukon 2022 without drilling the roof. and boxing stood on the crossbars of Thule.

I think OP needs the chrome or black rails that mount to the roof of the truck so he can use the cross bars and a cargo box. His truck appears to not have the rails that run the length of the roof.

On another note, which Thule cross bars are those?? They look like they sit far lower than the stock ones on my denali. I am about 3" or so too tall to park my truck in the garage with my cargo box mounted. Would like to just leave it on but the height of the stock cross bars makes that prohibitive. Next question would be do you have a sunroof and can it open fully with those cross bars mounted?

This is a three-part set. Thule wingbar evo 135cm. It comes with two sets, these are Thule 710600 and Thule 186117 this is an adapter for our roof rails. Yes, the hatch opens without any problems, the box does not interfere with it in any way

Thank you! Any idea how far off the roof they sit? Trying to compare height to the stock roof rails.
