2023 Tahoe - Bad Injectors - 4900 Miles

I am sure some of you are aware of this potential issue so wanting to see if anyone has any real insight into the issue?

Currently my 2023 Tahoe has been sitting at the dealership since April 1st having to be towed in at 4900 miles with what is being diagnosed as bad injectors and that it is not driveable until they are replaced. So here we are 13 days in Tahoe has not been repaired and I am told by GM Customer Care that they cannot escalate the case or parts team until the 19th of April.

Anyone hear of these issues? Dealer said he has 2 other 2023 Tahoes sitting waiting for repair parts too - sitting here wondering if I should dump the Tahoe after it is repaired and move on. Pretty loyal GM owner here having purchased 9 GM cars, trucks and SUV since 2016.....

I would be surprised if its injectors. Likely something more serious, but in either case you are in a waiting game for parts..

If you are really concerned about the reliability of the truck, check on your states lemon laws, or wait until its fixed, and dump it.

I cant give you any real advice on what to do, or not do, as I am extremely biased on all NEW GM products.

There was a change to the injectors for '23 and you're not the first person to have failed injectors... see link below.

Had this happen to me when out of town last month. 23 Tahoe. Had to stay the night and take to dealership next day. Bad injector bank 5. 7400 miles. Took two weeks for replacement parts. Received rental that was covered by Chevy under warranty.

Same thing happened again yesterday. Back in dealership. However it started with codes: U0146, P050D, U152B, U0146, U0566. All codes came up when dealership checked it in. Now they saw it's all related to bad injectors.
bank 1 and 7 now having to be replaced. 8600 miles. Was told they are back ordered and it could be several weeks.

I have already contacted a lemon law lawyer and I know now I have options being in California.
Extremely frustrated as this is my 1st Chevy I purchased.

So you are gonna lemon a ride when it’s diagnosed, and just waiting on parts?
It's not a good situation. Currently sitting still waiting on parts, really no clue from GM on what and when they can fix it. I am going to keep pushing them to get it fixed ASAP, then it will be a decision on me to keep it, sell it or trade it in on something different. I have purchased over 10 new GM vehicles since 2016 and this might potentially be my last - I am sure other manufacturers have their issues too but the lack of response from GM on what appears to be a known issue is disturbing.

As stated GM Customer Care was basically useless as they are reading from a standard script and playing a game with people vs. telling them the real story. I plan to be a big pain in their side this week till I get some answers and movement - sitting at the dealership since April 1 and no real news or anything from them except that they have to wait to escalate - that is crazy

Replaced injector #8 on a 22 Silverado with 16k miles at work today. So it is a possibility.
