Long time listener, first time caller.

Wanted to share my simple modification to the new Tahoe I just got. Really happy with the results.

2023 Chevy Tahoe RST (RWD)
Traded stock 275/50r22
New 275/60r20 BFGoodrich All Terrains on OEM Chevy wheels
Spent $1,400 out the door ($2,000 less $600 for trade)



Also just wanted to thank everyone for sharing their knowledge on these topics. Makes it very helpful in deciding which routes are worth exploring or not.

That’s right. Nothing fancy. Just didn’t want to look like a soccer mom and I’m too cheap to pay for 4WD. Dealership wouldn’t swap wheels/tires so I found a local OEM distributor that made it work. Just getting new tires on the 22” stock wheels was going to cost $2,000 and I would have had to try to sell the stock tires.

It would have cost more, I’m personally not a fan of 22s, and the stock 22s look like they are made of plastic….just sayin

Do the tires rub or anything? We have a ‘21 RST Suburban and I want to go with a slightly larger tire as well

Nah, they won't rub. I put bigger tires than that on my Z71 and they don't rub at all.
