Hello.
I have a 2024 Tahoe Premier. The driver seat has noticeable movement front and back when stopping and accelerating. When accelerating, the seat cushion moves up and down slightly. When stopping, the rear seat back moves forward slightly. It feels like somebody taps the chair in either scenario. There's an audible tap sound. There's not any left to right movement.
I can recreate the issue by either lifting the seat cushion up and down from the front of the seat, or by pulling and pushing on the rear seat back. The movement appears to be coming from the joints under the seat that allow the power seats to change position. It seems like they allow for too much play or aren't tight enough causing the "slop" as I can best describe it.
I've searched this forum, google, and social media. All I can find is earlier models with lateral movement. This is different.
The vehicle is under warranty. I will be dropping it off for diagnosis and hopefully repair. Has anybody else experienced this with a 2021 through 2024 Tahoe or Yukon and found what fixed it?
Cheers
