Not sure if anybody caught this. I’m interested to see what the 2024 has to bring. At this rate my 22 order might become a ‘23 and nothing I hate more than getting the year just prior to a refresh or remodel. If you can hold out like 18ish months from now could be worth it.

My bet is the refreshed Sierra/Silverado interior makes it to the Tahoes/Yukons and probably a lot more tech (ie super cruise). That new interior would be a welcome change to those with Tahoes or non Denali Yukons. Not that the current version is bad by any means just a touch bland and falling behind the Expedition and sequoia refreshes.

What would you all like to see most in a refresh?

I have a 21 Tahoe, I know the 22’s have a designated button for camera view which I would like. Fog lights would be nice. My only other dislike is not being able to access the RSE on the front screen. If it’s Parked u should be able to access rear screen. I take my kid to school and she has to have tv on so I have to back out of garage to get a signal then get out open her door load the screen pick a cartoon and go. That’s my main dislike. Other than that love the Tahoe, get lots compliments.

What’s also interesting is the sales comparison to the 2020 model year amid all the shortages.

Yep i saw that. Its interesting how it turns out given the previous gens only have a 5yr cycle before a new gen come out. Changes may be minimal, perhaps more trims?

Looking at the new 13.4” center screen in the Silverado/Sierra redesign it looks like it would be too wide to still work with the push button shifter. That would mean column shifter makes a comeback (doubtful) or center console gets redesigned to have a handle or push button shifter.

I’d be surprised they revamp the dash so quickly…

Well, given all the teething problems the 21s had, that 18 month wait might be longer if you wait for a 25. :)

I’m really curious to see what the 23s bring to the table - and honestly, if it’s just big fixes and functional RSE I’d be happy with that.

Now that said - any existing owners of 20’s have any thoughts? Are they relatively bulletproof compared to the 15’s? Could we expect the same from the 23s?

Well, as long as you are asking I do have a couple of thoughts. I am not complaining about my 2022 Denali ride quality, it is great. But, I wish the rear suspension had more ground clearance and a better "look". I am thinking about going with 4WD in the future and it just looks like there could be more clearance engineered into the setup. Also, on the "minor" front. The chrome trim on the AC outlets shows up on our rear view mirrors as a slash across the mirror. Not a big deal until you see it, then you can't unsee it.

I'd wait just for the column shifter to return, although I fear it would be an eternal wait.
I'm too concerned about the rear lower control arms. We have a lot of sand roads where I live, sometimes deep sand. Last thing I want is another piece dragging and making it even more likely to get stuck.

Agreed on this. I actually feel like the new screen looks a little fisher price to me compare to the current yukon denali dash. I personally like the '22 dash and hope they leave it as is for now.
