There's a grand total of 4 XL Duramax showing up on the GMC inventory search nationwide. None are Denali Ultimate. For reference, there's 5 of the SWB - 2 Denali's, but not Ultimate. They might be building them, but they haven't hit the transporter yet...

That's why I said way back these vehicles are complete unicorns. You really just don't see too many diesels out there. Very vast majority of dealers won't order them for stock.
Any diesel Yukon ultimate that hits any dealer's inventory (not presold) will be sold within the same day for sure. And it will be lucky if it doesn't sell for over sticker. I'd be surprised that any diesels will sell below sticker for a while. There's way more demand than availability......That's the real reality.
Another thing that GM's and dealers' sites are famous for is showing a bunch of vehicles available that when you call about them, they were dealer presold orders and never really for sale anyway.

My dealer called and said our Denali is finished but transport will be late next week. He has arranged to pick it up in Arlington tomorrow and have it here by dark. Nothing like a small town country dealer. Almost certainly will be MSRP.

How long has everyone been seeing from order time to being accepted by GM on the Tahoe front. My dealer kinda pissed me off. They said they were putting order in on the 3rd but the sheet shows it didn't go in until the 14th. So I am trying to just get an idea of timeframes.

When they put in the order is semi irrelevant.. when they get allocation is what's relevant.

I am not sure if it is the same as Chevy, but my dealer told me to get order in by the 3rd...but the first time I received an update as far as allocation, was on the 14th, and then again Yesterday. Similar timeline.

This is the first time I have ordered a new vehicle, feels like a terrible process so far.
