Our order was finally accepted today! Hopefully we can get it in the next 8 weeks or so.

So long as the 3.0 gets up to highway speeds without making me feel like a snail, that is all I care about - buying a 5,705 means speed was not my priority. I care about crusing at 70-75 and averaging 26+ mpgs.

I have a 2024 Yukon XL SLT 3.0 diesel (LM2). Gets up to highway speeds just fine and plenty of pep around town. It’s a highway torque machine and doesn’t downshift a lot, even going up moderate hills. I don’t think I’ve filled up worse than 19.5mpg on a tank and 25+ on the highway is basically a given subject to bad/cold conditions, wind, lots of hills etc.

Where I see some underwhelming highway pull is when travelling at highway speeds and then “punching it” to pass a car. This is where the LM2 lags. Hoping the LZ0 with the horsepower bump pulls a bit better in that regard.

Looking forward to hearing from the group on this. I’ll probably keep my current ‘24 Yukon and trade in when the next generation launches unless the LZ0 is a major game changer (not sure that’s the case).

My order was submitted 11/23/24, accepted on 3/31, left the line on 4/7 with an estimated delivery date of 4/28-5/12

So hopefully you all will get your trucks quicker also

Hmmm. My Yukon order was accepted close to 4 weeks ago and I haven’t heard a thing from my dealer.

After talking to my dealer this morning about it. They stated that official production starts March 3rd. They're currently assigning allocations and I should find out by next week (Thursday) if my order has been picked up for the March 3rd build date.
I placed my order for my Z71 3.0 Duramax in February and I still do not have a build date as of 4/14. Does anyone have any idea when production will really kick in? I only found one Z71 3.0 Duramax at a dealer in Oklahoma as of today so I know they have build at least one....

LOL My order was accepted in February and I still do not have a build date. I suspect you might be waiting a bit longer than 8 weeks....
