I've been to 3 dealers trying to order lately. All 3 attempted but system would not accept dmax order.
The system wont until March but placing one now will put you in a queue for when they're ready. At least that's what my dealer told me

I picked up an Ultimate from San Antonio last week. The dealer happened to post a youtube video on it the day prior to my delivery.

I love it, but came from a 2018 Diesel Range Rover and really miss the Diesel. I suggest holding out for that for anyone that is not in a hurry (I was).

I was concerned about the 24" wheels, but the suspension makes them unnoticeable. They look cool, but I would have been happy with 22s. Having 24s may help with resale???

I paid MSRP, but avoided dealer addons

Minor gripes:
- no interior ambient lighting at 100k+ price point
- really minor: only clock is at top right of the infotainment unless you turn the screen off, I find it really hard to see (I wear readers). I was hoping there would be an android auto or automotive app for just a clock to solve this in a tile, but I didn't find one. I can't find a way to add a clock to the main gauges or HUD(only shows ETA when navigating). Anyone???
- massage seats are back only, not seat bottom... not a huge deal, but I have had other vehicles with both... insert jokes here
- transmission is a bit rough shifting first few gears, not sure if this is common or something specific to my car, but the RR was definitely smoother

Second row is not the fancy executive seating package with massage chairs, but for me this is better since the seats fold flat with the standard seats and do not with the executive seats. Plus $$$$ for the package? Not sure how much or if available yet.

I am shopping now for an extended warranty - any suggestions/advice??

I really love the car and no regrets other than not being able to wait for a diesel.

Thats the exact truck I have on order except for me getting the 22s, no night vision and I opted for the Diesel.

Nice truck! I’d order an ultimate if I could order without rear entertainment!

Can’t you set up a clock on your tach screen? I have the time in mine on my ‘23 Denali. No need to look over to the center screen for the time.

I figured it out... there was an option to send the fuel efficiency to the main screen center, which I did, but that replaced the date /time in the main display. Once I turned this off the date /time showed. From what I understand, the pre-25 models were much more customizable.

That's pretty crazy...in my 2022 Denali, there is ambient lighting in the following locations:
-Driver and Passenger Footwell
-Door Handle Pulls
-Overhead console shines a single LED down on the console.
-I believe in the 2nd row, the lights under the driver/passenger seats are on at night as well, but I haven't sat back there in the dark.

All of the above adjust with the instrument panel dimmer switch, and they do get pretty dim at the lowest setting (like hardly perceptible), which is unfortunate, because I like my dash dim at night...crank your dimmer all the way up and see if the above locations light up.

I think the issue is that the Acadia has color changing ambient lighting and so does other cheaper models in GMs lineup. The Yukon DENALI is being held back by the Escalade. Just like the DENALI Ultimate trucks have suede headliners while being 10k cheaper but the Yukons doesn't. It kind of makes since being that the Sierra Denali is their flagship ICE truck but those features should carry over to its actual flagship vehicle. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the DENALI EV have color changing ambient lighting. What GM should have done was give the ambient lighting to all DENALIs but make it simple with less color options and effects. Anything is better than nothing.

I own two other vehicles that have color changing ambient lighting... Know what? We never change them. It's kind of kitchy, but not that useful in real life. Maybe they should have it, but it sure ain't no showstopper..
