Hello all,

So I am new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone would know if the new GMC Yukon trucks are still coming out with the same engine specs or has GM provided a deactivation of the cylinder issues being starved of oil ????

To my knowledge, the 2025 Denali has the 6.2L motor with the fuel management system (deactivation of cylinders) still installed and active.

The next gen V8’s are coming in the next gen truck’s and suv’s from GM possibly as early as next year. These engines are going to share maybe some small block characteristics from the Corvette’s LT6/LT7 engines from the Z06 & ZR1, possibly DOHC heads but also possibly turbo charged due to new upcoming startup emissions.
