Has anyone been able to successfully connect an Xbox Series X (the new one) to their RES? When we plug it in the HDMI says “no signal” and gives us no further options. We can hear the Xbox sound but for some reason the video won’t work. I’m wondering if this generation is just not compatible since they were both being developed at the same time? Not sure we have a prior gen Xbox and will try that when we get back home from our 1600 mile road trip, ha!

just throwing out an idea. If that xbox video output is set too high (4k ect) it might be causing syncing issue with HDMI. Try connecting your xbox to a tv and reducing to video output to 720p and see if that works.

Yes we figured it out. You need to change the setting on the Xbox to the lower refresh rate setting and then it will recognize with the tv. We made this change and it works now.
