Different vehicle I know, but whenever I ride in my bro in laws ford edge sport with 22's and 45 series tires I absolutely hate it. He's got nice pirelli tires too but the ride just seems harsh and it's like you can feel every imperfection in the road. I'm all about 20's with meaty tires
I’m happy with my 22” Snowflakes with 275-50’s.
A little more air between the ri and the road.

It's not only the inflexibility of the sidewall but the unsprung weight of the larger wheel that affect ride. The 20" is as large as I would want and they allow one to escape the impracticality of Magride but if vanity outweighs practicality go for it.

Yeah, it's more of a vanity thing and being different from everyone else. Plus, my driving habits are more aligned with the performance side of a vehicle than luxury and comfort. I don't plan on going offroad more than 4 times a year, and no one in their right mind intentionally looks for potholes to "test the depth"... I'm sure I'll be fine.

2022 Suburban Z71, has air ride. Stock ride with the 20’s was nothing short of incredible. I wanted 22’s in all black. I put Michelin defenders on it with the stock 22” size. Ride is ok, just like my wife’s Denali ultimate with 22’s but absolutely nothing like the stock 20” wheels and tires.

…waiting on black lug nuts.
Definitely recommend spending the money on GM lugs if you haven’t picked a set yet. I’ve had nothing but rust issues with other brands. So far my GM black lugs are hanging in there

About 2 months old on an off brand I’ve bought

Going on 1.5 years with the GM ones
