Just bought my wife a 2024 AT4 XL. We weren’t necessarily looking for an AT4 but didn’t want to spend Denali $ and couldn’t ever find an SLT optioned how we wanted. Love the seats on the AT4 though and some of the darker accents on the outside, plus the awesome front end. Question is she wants the black factory 22’s….what tire size would be appropriate? Looks like the 285/45/22 that comes stock on others is a full 2” smaller so probably a bad idea to use. Maybe a 285/50/22 at 0.9” shorter would be ok? Trying not to change size too much and create any warranty issue or throw speedometer off much. Thanks!

Warranty is not a problem. Have you tried the ride with 22s? I would try and get the thickest tire you can for ride comfort. At4 stock wheels are pretty desirable as well might be able to sell them on here or locally.

A 305/45/22 is a very comparable overall diameter to the stock tires. And most in that size are not lt E rated tires, so should ride a bit better than the 285/50’s

I believe (but not measured) that the 305/45/22 will probably fit without rubbing, but be sure to check BOTH the tire width and the tire overall height and compare it to your current tires. Also be sure the get a 22" rim with the same (of very close to the same) offset as your current rim specs.

The 305/45/22 fit on the stock wheels, no rubbing. But you make a good point…when changing to the 22” wheels, make sure you get the offset specific to the ‘21 and up models, as the ‘20 and back wheels dont fit!

I can't help you with your question but I'm thinking about the AT4 instead of the Denali but for the 2025 model. I can't spend the money for the Denali and from what I have researched, you have to go with the High Country to get the magnetic ride control and the air ride in the Tahoe so the price is way up there. I'm thinking the AT4 to get magnetic ride countrol, air ride and the taller side walls on the tires. I also like the darker trim pieces on the AT4. I'm somewhat allergic to chrome, just my preference.
Congrats on the new Yukon.

A bad rash, I might have to deal with it, I looked at it some more and adaptive cruise control is not available on the AT4 in 2024, I doubt that will change for 2025 and that is a deal breaker. One of things I am looking for out of a Tahoe/Yukon is to have something to travel around the country.
