I think you can have 22"s look great on these trucks PROVIDED there's no dish to them. I think that the face needs to be nearly flush with the sidewall, a la Escalade 7-spoke wheels. Seems that when you add any kind of lip to the wheel, the wheel looks a lot smaller than it is. Bring the face out, and the wheel looks a lot larger.

Regardless, I don't think I'd ever pay the kind of money associated with some aftermarket wheels to just go to 22"s. I'd have to go up to 24"s to make the expense worth it.

The biggest difference to me was how much more expensive the tires are. I spent around $600 for a set of 22" tires and just spent $300 on 1 24" tire. The tires were different brands so that had something to do with it.
If money is not an object, you can afford to replace a wheel if something should happen, and buying high price tires then 26" would look awesome.
24" is still pretty expensive but cheaper than 26" but also look really good.
I would sit down and figure out how long you plan on keeping the truck and/or wheels and figure out what works out in your budget.
The only other thing I have always found is low-pro tires do not last as long (at least for me) so I wouldn't buy anymore expensive of a tire then you need.

What size tires were on the 6's when you drove it daily?

The dish thing is a huge deal. +1 on that

My cousin has 24" boss wheels with a lip and they look alot smaller beside my full faced wheels imo. I will try to get a pic sometime of them together.
