22's On Metro Detroit Potholed Roads?

I'm not sure how many people are form Michigan around here.
But Metro Detroit roads are horrible from a pot hole standpoint.

I am on the fence in regard to putting 22's on my new (to me) Yukon XL. The 275/55-20's on there now seem to have lots of beef for the roads. I have blown out plenty of 40 and 45 series tires on much lighter cars in the past.

How often are people blowing out the tires on 22's due to potholes etc. It amazes me that they even put them on there from factory.

I,m driving on Falkens 305/40/22 for nearly 2 years here in NYC and there isn't a smooth street anywhere. No blowouts or damage.

Never had an issue with Houston's ****** roads either.

Me too. Nyc worst In the world. On factory 22 your good. Just don't run bald tires
