So i just got a Tahoe 2010 and was wondering what the group opinion was with 24"'s vs 26"'s. I'm thinking of going with KMC surf slides (black).

What do you guys think?

It's seems that going with 26's causes a ride problem from what i am reading.

So if i go with 24's what size 295/305/315 what side walls 30/35/40?

A member here with user name Modded, who has had both 24's and 26's, will be able to provide the pro's and con's to each. If you can't PM yet he'll probably see this thread at some point in the near future. Good luck!

And welcome to the forum, BTW!

i would go with 26s, they look much bigger and turn more heads. (if thats what your going for) I woulld say a 24 would ride better than a 26 but its really do you want to sacrifice a little ride quality for larger wheels.

Like Iwaslowr said I have had both and prefer 26s alot more.
Funny you mention ride because my 26d and 24s ride just about the same, except for really harsh roads, which is when the 26s get kind of rough.
Don't waster your time on the Slides, everyone has them and they are not hot enough to add yourself onto that list.
I am selling my 26s now for some other 26s so let me know if you are interested.

I have 305/30/26 right now and like them. Not gonna downgrade to 295s for less wheel protection.

Derk its a 2/5 in those pics, but is now a complete 3/5.
Also it does not rub mmuch anymore, but I can tell you it took ALOT of trimming, cutting and bnding to make that happen.
