I just put 26" wheels on my 02 tahoe yesterday. I was wondering if anybody with 26's or any big wheels for that matter, have any vibration or shaking when driving at a high speed. If you have, how did you fix it?

does your truck still have those little sheet metal clips on a couple of the lugs from factory assembly? those are garbage, and can cause that on any aftermarket wheels.

eh. depends on the tire brand and the balance. if you bought em online "mounted and balanced" and had em shipped to you then you need to get em re balanced. ive had mine rebalanced 3 times, and it still shakes. cuz i have no name tires. take the front wheels and swap em with the back ones, AFTER you have it balanced.

also when you get them balanced, even though they may be new, ask if any rims are bent or warped. that could cause a bad shake. i forgot to say in an ealier post that one of my front wheels was bent so along with the balance we put that rim in the rear. speaking of shaking, i recently hit a huge pothole and now my truck is shaking. i think the pothole may have knocked off a few weights.
