Thanks man, they really look good!:Handshake: How much did the wheels and tires cost if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks,
DwDrummer

They were a little more than I wanted to pay... but there was no turning back once I found them.

a buddy i roll with around here has the 26" U2-55 wheels on his tahoe. been lowered 3/5. honestly it rides great. for some reason it rides better than mine does on 24s lol. of course with a drop like that he had to do some relocating and cutting of stuff to eliminate the rubbing. for some reason the u2-55 wheels look MASSIVE on his ride. i would suggest getting them. he has stock brakes as well. never had any problems with them. if it were me, i would pick up some good pads and rotors tho :)

Personally, I love my 26's, but thr ride is a little rougher. Comparing them to 24's the ride is the same. I love pulling upside hoes, surburbans, and yukon on 24's and smaller and look @ there face....lol!!! I would recommend 26's. I didnt rub at all unitl I dropped my 2in in the rear.

I'm also thinkin about those same rims u2- 55 in 26. My denali is lowered 4" I might have to lift it up an inch... But worth it for big rims!

Nut -- Can you tell me what method you used to drop the rear 2"? And did you only drop the rear, or the whole truck? Me, I'm looking to only drop the rear.

Sorry to threadjack. Drop me a PM! Thanks!

I went from 24" Foose wheels too 26" Dub Bombers. I didn't notice the difference in ride. The 26's are heavier so you should feel some difference in stopping and taking off.

I know you can get big Rotors 14" with caliper relocation brakets for about 500 dollars. Here is the link to them

This is to Blackedoutlt3..... I dont really have the money right now to do a big brake kit but would love to have the look. Bassiclly all this does is give you bigger calipers behinde the rims but uses your stock brakes, is this correct? Any help would be appreicated. Thanks

Not quite bro. To be safe you NEED to upgrade your brakes to be able to run 26's because of the increased weight of the rims. 26's and 24's put a serious strain on your stock brakes. That is why you would want the 14" rotor. The caliper stays the same. You can get away with an OEM size rotor, but the rotors still need to be swapped out for a better rotor so you do not over heat your brakes and warp them.

IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO AT LEAST DO THE FRONT BRAKES WITH THE 26'S, DONT DO THEM. Or at least do them shortly after.
