Ok so I found a great deal on some SS 20's wrapped with 275/65/20's. Right now im at stock height. Whats it gonna take to clear these tires? The truck will not be with me long before I move it on to someone else, so maxing the bars is probably the way im gonna go on the front. Im not sure about the rear though. I want either level all the way around or no more than half inch lower in the front than the rear.

i dont think they will fit. I have an 02 z71 stock height had 33 12.50 17 on 8" wheels with 4.5" BS and they rubbed a little bit put on 305 55 20 (33.25") on 9" with 4.5 BS and they rub BAD. 275 65 20s are 34"s but narrower so.....depends on wheels offset and width + or 0 offset on 8" wheel it may be fine

I would think it would be pretty tight, even with the narrow width. you might crank up the stock keys at home and then ask them to test fit up a front and back.

If they want to sell 'em they will.

I mean it isnt a shop selling them. Its a buddy of mine. 400 bux. Im thinking maxing the keys and rear spacers should cover it. Hopefully. Whats the deal with shocks? I would think longer shocks would be needed, but all im seeing is atatchments.

Im not exactly sure what the wheel came off of, but its off a gm. It looks alot like a silverado SS wheel. So whatever the measurements is on those.

for the front, you can get shock extensions off ebay or just get the correct shock for the lift if you like. Either one will give you just a bit more down travel. The limiting factor is the CV angles though.

For the rear, it depends on what shock you have. Search on this one. Nivomat or air ride and youre left looking for some kind of spacer. if its just the basic shock, you can swap them for longer units.

Since its a buddy, definitely test fit.

35x12.50s and stock 20s will fit with a little crank. Been there done that. 275/65s on stock ss 20s shouldn't be a problem. They are narrow as hell and being they are used are probably alot shorter than a 34 at this point. Think about it, I've ran 305/30/26s with 2/3 drop on a x10 wheel with +15 offset. Thats a 33.5x12.50 pretty much. A 275/65 on a ss 20x8.5 with +30 offset wont give u much trouble if any
