275/55/20 to 305/55/20, noticeable power/mpg drop?

I'm wanting to go with a level and 305s but I'm worried about the loss in power and mpg. Anyone with experience notice much if a difference? I'm not all that worried about the mileage cause let's face it were not driving Prius'. I'm more worried about the power loss. I tow my boat weekly fairly and while it does a good enough job now I certainly don't wanna lose too much with a bigger tire. I realize that you're gonna lose some for sure just curious what kind of seat of the pants difference other people have noticed?

305/55/20

I just put the 305 55 20 on yesterday I haven't had much time to notice any real drop in miles per gallon but power and everything still seems to be there. I ran toyo open country a/t they seem like a real nice tire, fairly light for as big as it is.
