275/55r17s installed

Got a set of Toyo Proxes ST III in 275/55r17 because I wanted a tad smaller and wider tire. They fit great, ride smooth, and they are quiet. They look better too with the directional tread pattern.
I had to adjust my tune for the smaller tire so the speedo reads correctly though.

How much shorter are they, half inch ?

Excuse the dirt. Out dove hunting. Yes they about an inch smaller in diameter.
