285/70/r17 fit on 2001 LT Tahoe?

I have 285/70/17's and they don't rub at all. I leveled it with keys after getting the tires on. The stock Z71 snowflake wheels are 7.5 wide with a +31mm offset. So you should be ok with the 18mm but I'd do the 30's. Don't go cutting anything until after you get them on and check if they will actually rub. My buddy has 305/50/20's with a 42mm offset. the only thing they rub is the back of the Z71 lower valance and only a tad when he is ******* the brakes while turning into a parking spot.

Mine is an LT so it might not have quite as much space as a Z71, but I can probably get the higher offset and crank the keys just a tad.
