2nd Row Power Folding 60/40 Bench Not Working

I have a 2008 Yukon Denali XL with the 2nd row power folding 60/40 bench. You simply push a buttom and the back of the bench folds forward and then the entire bench folds up. The problem I'm having is that the first action works (the back seat of the bench folds forward) but the entire bench does not disengage and fold up. I used to be able to pull the manual handle on the bottom of the bench but now the entire thing is stuck. It will not fold up. I'm out of warrantly. Any suggestions? Thanks for looking.

My 2010 did the same thing . The dealer replaced a cable under the seat. I dont kow how hard they are to get at but it sounds llike you have the same problem. Good luck
