2wd drive button flashing

Unplug the switch, and taking a small pic tool, open the back of the case to where you expose the circuit board. Take a soldering iron and resolder both the 8 pin connector as well as the three pin. Usually takes care of it. If you've never soldered electronics before make sure to watch some videos on it.

I was wondering if anyone has ever changed out a burnt out light bulb with an LED in the 4WD selector switch? I have mine apart but can't seem to get the circuit board off of the case. Any help would be appreciated.


Not sure if I should post this in here but I didn't want to start a new topic.

I changed the bulb out and replaced with a blue LED. It's not terribly difficult but you will need to be pretty good at soldering and have a good soldering iron and a solder sucker. You will also need to incorporate a resistor into the circuit to drop current so you don't fry the LED. There is a post here somewhere with a picture of my finished product.
