Keep us updated. Sounds like you have some good options though. It can be nice to have a vehicle you don't mind getting rusted out / torn up....less stress.
Side story - my two best friends and I drove to the Grand Canyon in 2007 in a 1996 suburban just like that, same color and everything. It was our HS graduation trip. From rural East Texas to the Grand Canyon! Then we thought we would be mr. cool guys and drive to Las Vegas to gamble, we got there and our dumb ***** didn't realize we had to be 21. Lol.
