I am new to the forums posted a few times. I have a stock 2004 Denali xl and want to lower it and put some 26s on it. I went to a few local shops and finally found a deal through my friends godfathers shop for 26 inch rims few styles to choose from like 2crave, niche, elite etc. He is also going to lower the denali 2/3 mounted balanced all hardware for $3,000 cash OTD. any input on the price, seems like a steal to me considering 26 inch rims and tires are pretty pricey. any thoughts.........

it seems like a fair deal depending on the drop and the wheels. I would at least spend the money on a good set of wheels not the china made ones, I think you will be happier in the end.

Based on how much a lot of good quality 26's are that's a pretty good deal. As stated make sure you get a good quality wheel :waytogo:

Dude, your droppin 3'g on drop and 6's with tires.

Means a skinny tire which means YOU need a quality rim to stand the beating!

I'd have to have more information, drop hardware/type and wheel brand

here are a few options, 2crave, niche, strada, And a picture of my Denali....since i have tinted the front two windows. I do not know much about these trucks so thats why I am going to have everything done for me. The guy was saying something about keys in the front vs some other kind? does that make sense?...thanks for the input. And the tire was a 305/30/26

Also i have a option to get lightly used Ginelle spieza 6s in 24 inch with no lower just a level kit in the rear for $2800....but i think 26s will be better looking and for only the extra $200

that IMO is the better quality wheel. Again if you just want looks then go 26's but then again what kind of 305/30/26 tire are you going with? Hell my 24" tires alone are almost 2gs

were a few choices for tires...Lexani, Nexan, Sunny, and a few other ones i cant rember. I just think the 24s are going to look small on my xl and I will regret it and want 26s. Is there a huge difference between just a leveling kit and a 2/3...I know its gonna be a lot but stock height how are those 24s gonna sit. B/c with the spiezas for $2800 it does not come with the lowering kit.
