Im planning a 3/5 drop on my 2001 Tahoe 2wd. I have already purchased a 3/5 mcguaghys kit which included front 2 inch spindles 1 inch torsion keys for the front and rear 5 inch coils with axle relocators and sway bar end links. I will be running 24 x 10 denali wheels with a 31 offset and 295/35/24 tires. I will also be cutting the bump stops out. My questions are what shocks should I buy to help with ride and are there any another other major things to look at to help with ride quality. Any help would be appreciated thanks and have a great day.

I also just ordered a Spohn Adjustable panhard bar but still would like to know what shocks would give the best ride with this drop.

Most guys here swear by Belltech street performer shocks. I have them, but they are a bit stiff to me

return it if you can. SPindles with keys ride harsh in front and then on top of that your bumpstops are collapsed and you will lose turning radiue. WITh the djm 3 inch lowers ride is 10x better and mated with the belltech sp shocks is way to go plus you get new balljoints and new inner bushings and turning radius is not changed. Oh yah will work with your 16 inch spare also where as the set up you got will not.

In rear my kit rides the best and years ago i tested them all out and my spring rate on these trucks is perfect. much smoother also. Here is a customer that had your same kit on his old tahoe and hated the ride he then put my kit on his new tahoe and I will let this post tell the rest of the story
