40" with 285/70R17's is pretty close to 3" of lift. I'm at about 39-39.5" front, and 40" rear with a 1" spacer

Ok. So I backed off bolt on keys. Drivers side bolt is about half way. Passenger side I could probably take the bolt out. Just a little tension on it. Now to get alignment. Thanks for everyone's input and help.

No problem, hope that smoothed it out for you. Mine are cranked a little higher on the driver side to make it level as well. Mine are turned in a pretty good ways, but that's to compensate for the 170# brush guard.

I wouldn't go bigger than 285/75(or 70)-17 if you do anything offroad. You may be able to fit 305's, but one good bump while the wheels are turned will claim a fender well.

Pay attention to Load Range when you shop tires. I bought my truck with load range E tires, and it's like rolling on wood. I have to keep 55lbs of pressure in them to get it to handle properly. I'd stick with P class or LT.

I have a 3" body lift on my Z with 305's on 16x8.5 wheels and at full turn on level ground I maybe have .5 of an inch clearance... So yeah, one good bump with the wheel turned and hello choas lol. 285's with keys should be a good combo.

285s on maxed stock keys. It rubs the inner fender but nothing a little trimming didn't handle.

Would you happen to know the backspacing on those wheels?
