I'm looking to buy a set of Chrome SS wheels with 3000 mile Goodyear GT ll tires on them. Anybody know if these will fit my stock height 2004 Tahoe. I think the SS wheels are 9" wide instead of 8.5" like the rest of the GM 20's.
If i'm not mistaken they also came on the 2006 Suburban LTZ, stock tire size is 275/55-20, worried the 305/50's may be to wide. Tread 10.5" section width 12.4".
Thanks in advance,
Jim

I don't see why not, I'm running 305/45/22x19.5 or 10's(can't remember the width) with a 3/5 drop so you should be good

I think he is concerned aobut mounting the tires on said wheels

According to falken tires website (they publish specs, some manufacturers don't),
a 305/50/20 is approved for rims widths from 8.5-11"

pics bro pics. and just for sake of stayin on topic... I run 305/35/24's (10" wide wheel) at stock height with no rub on the front wheels when I turn at all BUT i just recently noticed that mine DO rub in the back when the suspension drops too far. That do anything for ya?
