33" tire width on stock suburban 18" wheels?

I'm going to put new tires on my suburban. I have a 3" leveling kit on front and 3.5 on back. I want the biggest tire I can fit with little to no trimming. I have read that's a 33"? What width tire should I get for the stock rims. That will stick out maybe an inch or so but nothing too dramatic like a 12.5" tire? I need it to fit the stock 18" wheels as I can't afford wheels AND tires right now. Better yet if anyone has any pics of said tire on their suburban/tahoe/yukon, that would be awesome!

What’s the width on your current tire? One way you can make certain you get the look and clearance you want is to find a used tire shop with a 33” tire and have them mount one for you. It’ll cost you a few bucks but it’s well worth it. New tires aren’t cheap. The other consideration is when you get new wheels you’ll need to keep the same offset to avoid rubbing. Good luck.

Biggest I could clear with a 3” lift was 20x12s with 33/12.50 ridge grapplers

I could clear 35s on stock wheels

Mine already had slightly wider wheels, 18x9, when I bought it. Tires are 285/65/18. It has a 1” level in front.

275/70/18 are 33.2". Lots of options in that size...

Here it is! LT175/70 r18 tires with 1.25" spacers all around on the stock wheels to give it a little more aggressive look and to keep the tires from rubbing on the new uca's
