35" tires

I did mine to deal with snow. I have stock 3.43 axles, so I'm not trying to do anything to challenge it anyway. Rims will be later in the upgrade process... after the axles get upgraded, and the bodywork/paint is done. I've never run mine w/ low psi to have to worry

heres mine with 315s 3inch body lift and 2inch block in back fronts like inch lower. they measure 33 though cuz like no tread on em

i would definitely listen to these guys. they know what they're talkin about. I was in the same boat as you. i ended up goin 3" body and a crank. cleared 295/70r18 but shows a lot of frame. this is just a bandaid fix til i get the $ up for a full 6" lift. but seriously- dont get the 2-3" lift. best of luck!

Hi Alex,

i have 3 questions:

1) when you complete turn your steering, do the tires rub on the frame?
2) what blocks are you using in the rear (maybe a link)?
3) are you using any wheel spacer to prevent framerubbing?

Holy stuffage. Looks tough though. And for the record about skinny wheel/wide tire and low psi.. im running a 37x12.50 wide tire on a stock 17x7 (maybe 7.5?) wheel on my F150 and I air down to 12-15 psi in the OBX's sugar sand with no problems. I even ran a 12" wide wheel on a 12.50 tire no problem. Although the first is least likely to pop a bead (skinny wheel/wider tire)

Yes, 35's will fit on a bone stock OBS Yukon with just a 3 inch body lift.
Had some new Super Swamper M16's 35x12.5r20's kickin around and my Tahoes factory rims doin nothing.. so i paired them up and ordered up a 3'' BL for my 500$ winter beater Yukon, threw it all together today.. just had to chop the corners off the bumper like all my 4x4 OBS's with 35's.

I got about 3/8's from the fame lock to lock. its gonna rub a little when shes cranked all the way to one side and the suspension flexes but on flat surface i have 100% turning radius. Left the torsion bars alone too so it still rides half decent. I have a k2500 if i wana drive a lumber wagon haha!
