Does anyone have any reliable information on when this is coming to the Yukon Denali? Dealer I went to said that it wasn't coming until after the 8spd transmission is made available (very shortly), but I seem to remember reading something on here suggesting otherwise.

My wife's Infiniti QX60 has this feature. Thought it'd be gimmicky at first, but it's turned out to be very handy. It irks me that there are several features/aspects of the car that are lacking, especially for the price point, but that's another story for another day.

considering the 2015.5 Escalade will have it, I would assume the Denali won't be too far behind.

While I agree it's a neat feature, I think it takes away from knowing how to handle the automobile. Actually knowing where all 4 corners are on the thing. Im surprised the escalade doesn't have it at its price point with features, and catering to a different demographic than the others. We haven't heard when / if it's coming to the models.

Sorry to bump the old thread, but I feel its still relevant.

So as mentioned, the 2015i Esky (and Denali?) will have GM's new 360 Degree Camera. I have never been in a vehicle with this, but I know Ford is also doing it. Has anyone ever worked with this before, or have a decent video/series of pictures? I'm pretty excited for this feature, and hoping it makes its way down to become an option on the non-premium SUVs, and into the pickups.

I've used various manufacturers' versions of this technology. The one from Infiniti is excellent. You get a great bird's eye view of what is around you and the camera in front is very helpful for parking in tight spots. For me, this would be invaluable on a Denali XL. That truck will fit in my garage but with about three inches of clearance in terms of length. I would need to put it right up against a bannister in order to close my garage door.

The Mercedes version isn't quite as good for a number of reasons.
