That’s a NBS, 00-06. So the entire ad is a lie if they’re not even sure what year Esky the pictures are of. I see ads for nice vehicles on FBM and Craigslist all the time with prices that are obviously a scam. They prey on people trying to get a deal that’s too good to be true or looking for vehicles that don’t exist, and when you meet up they probably rob you or worse because believe me there’s way worse things than getting robbed.

Did they come with that "VORTEC MAX" badge on the rear gate?

I think it’s a 2006. Here is what I found for the Vortec MAX on Escalade’s. Very suspicious ad.

“The Vortec ** 6000 or VortecMAX, technically the LQ9, is aspecial high-output version of the Vortec 6000 V8 truck engine originally designed for Cadillac. This engine was introduced in other truck lines as VortecMAX for 2006. It features high-compression (10:1) flat-top pistons for an extra 10 hp and 10 ft·lbf, bringing output to 345 hp (257 kW) and 380 ft·lbf (515N·m). LQ9s are built only in Romulus, Michigan.”

It's not an '09 and something seems off about it. With being driven so very little, they swapped on some later model (or reps) 22s within that 3,100 miles? Did they come with that "VORTEC MAX" badge on the rear gate?
No they didn’t.

like the others said, the ad is a scam all the way around. #fakenews

I'm familiar with the LQ9- I head, cammed and FBO'ed one for my S10.
I've just never seen that badge on the rear gate.

Anyone know of a good way to get an ad like that shut down and, preferably, the author properly prosecuted?

I just now reported it as a scam. At the bottom right hit the “more” button and there’s options to report the ad or the seller.

I reported it to FB as well. Just wish there were more we could do. I just left the market about a month ago, and I got so sick of the scams, which I learned to spot after immediately looking at the ads. I also wish we could get the dealers fined who list a price in the main ad, then indicate "downpayment" in the description. Sorry to be bitter.

Oh I got some sellers on marketplace that were listing wheel down payments as what looked like the actual price to change all their ads to say “$49 down payment” up front instead of in the fine print. They had flooded marketplace with these ads that looked like all these wheels were $49 each when in reality that was the monthly payment. Now in my area those ads all say clearly that’s the down payment price. I reported about 30 of their ads as deceptive or inaccurate and they had to change. It pissed me off.
