3m vinyl wrap in the interior

Was wondering what you guys would think of installing 3m vinyl wrap in the interior. I know some people have used the carbon fiber wrap on small interior parts (small dash parts etc.) but what if I wanted to do the door panels and dash. Would that work. Has anybody done it?

I don't think that would work very well since the door panels are rough. You could sand and smooth them but that would either be a ton of money or a ton of hours. I would recommend just doing the smooth parts.
