It's taken over a month, they don't have anything even wired yet, and no finish work even started?

I'd walk in, hand them a bill for the rental, compare it to the cost of the gear and the "working time" on your truck, and walk out, with keys in hand to your truck, and drive that ***** away.

A buddy of mine has a CNC machine, he could have done all that intricate scroll work in about 6 hours of shop time (including the CAD designing). To put that shit together, I'd be able to do that in about 3 hrs.

My enclosure in my rear quarter panel had to have every piece scribed to fit tight, trimmed, scribed again, trimmed, etc... and I had it done in under 6 hrs. I spent another 5 hours running my 1/0 wire along the framerail, up through the floor, mounting my distribution blocks and amps, wiring everything up, connecting the RCA's to my JVC head unit, and programming the Steering Wheel adapter to work. Even though I did work in a shop 25 years ago, I'm no "pro".

There is something else going... I been in the Car Audio & Security for about 30 years. I can wire up amps and the radio in 2 days. Figured about 1 week in custom work with wood or fiberglass. If this a A+ shop easily they should have 3 to 4 guys working on your ride.
This was me back in 1988 with my 83 Supra. 4 15" Subs and 2 Hifonics Zeus Amps.

I'd immediately ask them how many man-hours they have into it so far. If it's over 25... tell them to keep the enclosure, you don't want it. I'm willing to bet they'll have AT LEAST another 40+ hours into it....

And what is their shop rate? $50 an hour, more??

If so... that enclosure is going to run you close to $3500..... not counting equipment......

I was down there at midnight and there they were unlocked, and building was all lit up, so i walked in and went to the back and they were wrapping things in leather with the heat gun. The attention to detail is beautiful
